Coniston Community Food Club 

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. FareShare take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,000 frontline charities and community groups.

 

The food FareShare redistribute is nutritious and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week we provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.

 

The Coniston Community Food Club is one such recipient of FareShare's charitable contributions.  We meet to redistribute food  every Friday at St. Andrew's, Coniston from 10.00am to 12.00 noon.

 

If you are not a member but are interested in joining then please do come along and speak to us.
